On October 15th 1997, the Cassini–Huygens spacecraft was launched on an almost 7-year journey to the Saturn system passing by Venus (twice), Earth, Jupiter and arriving at the Saturn system in 2004. After 20 years in space, the spacecraft ran out of fuel and on its final orbit, on September 15th 2017, Cassini plunged into Saturn's atmosphere sending back information to the very end. After losing contact with Earth, the spacecraft burnt up like a meteor, becoming part of the planet...
